Job Description:

Vinci Robotics Academy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Education to oversee the development and implementation of educational programs related to robotics and engineering. The Director of Education will be responsible for managing a team of educators, creating and delivering curriculum, and maintaining the overall quality of instruction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics and engineering education, excellent leadership and organizational skills, and a passion for inspiring students to pursue careers in STEAM fields.

Responsibilities:

● Develop and implement educational programs related to robotics and engineering

● Manage a team of educators and provide ongoing training and support

● Create and deliver curriculum that meets the needs of students at different skill levels

● Ensure that instruction is aligned with industry standards and best practices

● Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make adjustments as needed

● Collaborate with the Board of Directors to ensure that educational programs align with the overall mission and goals of the organization

● Develop partnerships with schools and other organizations to promote robotics and engineering education

● Attend conferences and other professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in education, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

● Minimum of 2 years of experience in STEM education or Secondary School with at least 1 year in a leadership role.

● Excellent leadership and organizational skills

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills

● Ability to develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of students at different skill levels

● Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in robotics and engineering education

● Experience with program evaluation and assessment

● Passion for inspiring students to pursue careers in STEAM fields

SCHEDULE:

School Year: Monday – Friday – 10 AM – 5 PM and Saturday or Sunday 3 hours drop-in time between opening time.

Summer, School Vacation & Select Holidays: 9 AM - 5 PM.

ABILITY TO COMMUTE/RELOCATE:
