Job Summary of a Director of Landscape Architecture:
The Director of Landscape Architecture is primarily responsible for all activities relating to the Department of Landscape Architecture at JBPro. This includes business development, project management, and planning production work related to the department. The Director is expected to have expert knowledge of landscape architecture and be informed of current trends in the industry to advance business development in the company.

Responsibilities of a Director of Landscape Architecture:
1. Provide expert knowledge of landscape architecture principles and have final decision authority on all landscape architecture drawings and documents
2. Manage the landscape architecture staff to meet project budgets and deadlines while ensuring deliverables are of the highest quality
3. Prepare and manage project proposals, budgets, and timelines
4. Collaborate with staff and external consultants throughout projects until completion
5. Establish and maintain positive relationships with new and existing clients, and government agencies
6. Provide input on invoicing and billing for landscape architecture projects
7. Assist in the development of short and long-term company objectives
8. Identify ways to improve client service, communication, design, and production
9. Train and mentor staff as necessary
10. Evaluate potential candidates and participate in staff recruiting
11. Coordinate with administrative staff on all administrative needs, purchases, and human resources
12. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and evaluate if implementation would be beneficial

Requirements of a Director of Landscape Architecture:
1. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Landscape Architecture
7. 5-10 years of landscape architecture experience
2. Licensed Florida Landscape Architect
4. Experience in AutoCAD, Land FX, Adobe Creative Cloud, & Microsoft 365 applications

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
