About us:

Greenridge Post-Acute & Senior Living is a beautiful, recently remodeled 5-STAR facility in El Sobrante, CA. We have 60 skilled nursing beds and 30 assisted living beds.

We are searching for a talented and driven Director of Nursing (DON) who will ensure that our patients receive the best possible treatment. As the DON, you will oversee the clinical operations of our facility's nursing staff. Your goal is to enhance performance of the nursing staff and give our residents the best outcomes. You should be a good communicator who can relate well to others, including patients, their loved ones and physicians.

We want someone with a high sense of responsibility, who is willing to take initiative and has a great attention to detail.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Supervise, coordinate and manage the nursing department by ensuring quality services are delivered to patients.
• Assist administration with developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures.
• Complete staff recruitment and selection, as well as employee training and development.
• Coordinate work schedules of registered nurses and licensed vocational nurses; counsel staff and maintain employee relations.
• Conduct regular inspections of the nursing facility to ensure compliance.
• Provide care for patients by performing thorough assessments; implementing treatments, managing medications and supervising medical records.

Qualifications:

• A Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State of California

• Minimum one (1) supervisory experience in a home health setting
• Adequate means to travel to and from the facility as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
