Director of Home Management

Job Summary:
The Director of Property Managers is responsible for overseeing a team of property managers who are responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple properties. This includes managing property maintenance, tenant relations, financial reporting, and budgeting. The Director of Property Managers will ensure that all properties are managed efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of the property owners and tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of property managers responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple properties. Up to 15 direct reports.
- Develop and implement property management policies and procedures to ensure that all properties are managed effectively.
- Provide guidance and support to property managers to ensure that they are meeting their goals and objectives.
- Oversee property maintenance to ensure that all properties are in good condition and comply with local laws and regulations.
- Manage tenant relations and respond to tenant complaints or issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Oversee financial reporting and budgeting to ensure that all properties are financially sound.
- Monitor property market trends to ensure that properties are rented at competitive rates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with property owners and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field or relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in property management, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of property management software and financial reporting tools.
- Ability to manage budgets and track expenses.
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations governing property management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
