Position Summary
As the Director of our Technical Testing Services (TTS) team, you will manage. lead, mentor, and grow a team of skilled offensive security consultants with a focus on penetration testing and various other offensive security services to assist clients in mitigating existing and future cybersecurity risks. As the Director, you will spend 50% of your time working directly with our customers performing billable services; however, managing, developing, and growing your team; refining and expanding our services; and supporting business development opportunities with Customers will also be important responsibilities of this position. You can work from anywhere in the United States with Internet access. This position offers a great opportunity for you to develop and share your mastery of technical security testing with others while exploring emerging industry issues, technologies and opportunities. As a leader in our Consulting Services organization, you will help our customers improve patient safety, safeguard sensitive health information, and protect their corporate capital and reputation, by delivering strong, proactive privacy and cyber risk management solutions. You will also have the opportunity to participate in industry organizations and collaborative efforts on a national level.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES -
Actively manage the TTS team, including managing utilization, annual performance evaluations and ongoing performance conversations. - Provide effective resource management and planning for the team. - Achieve defined timelines for delivery of TTS services. - Review work performed by the team to maintain consistent standards across all deliverables. - Manage the tactical implementation of strategic goals set by leadership. - Work in collaboration with leadership to continue to update and mature TTS capabilities. - Identify methods to improve processes and service delivery and communicate issues and risks to leadership. - Deliver offensive security services in one or more areas including network, cloud, mobile or web application and wireless penetration testing and related technical security assessments. - Collaborate with clients, project management, and engagement leaders to identify, develop, and obtain information for developing proposals. - Lead development of best practices, strategies, methodologies, and documentation/templates for use by the TTS team. - Achieve high levels of client satisfaction on all engagements by meeting or exceeding client expectations set by engagement leaders and project managers. - Assist in hiring and onboarding new TTS team members. Requirements:EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 7+ years’ experience in IT and/or cybersecurity within healthcare, defense, or financial sectors.
- 3-5 years’ experience leading complex offensive cybersecurity related engagements.
- 3+ years’ experience in a direct Customer-facing role with a consulting firm.
• 3+ years’ experience leading a team of consultants. • Experience using industry standard penetration testing tools and methodologies. • Professionalism, problem solving, customer facing and handling skills, time management, written and verbal communication, presentation skills, active listening, flexibility.
- Must have operational knowledge of information technology infrastructure, various operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows) and networking (TCP/IP, Ethernet, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VoIP, Wireless).
- Ability to think holistically and identify areas of technical and non-technical risk.
- Ability to write technical reports and communicate technical content to non-technical audiences.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKIL LS, & KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience in offensive cybersecurity.
- Applicable professional certifications such as GPEN, GWAPT, GCPN, GMOB, OSCP, OSWP, and OSEP or other industry standard certifications are preferred.
- Demonstrable experience growing a consulting practice.
- Experience developing new technical testing services and solutions.
