Who are we hiring?

The Director Workplace Operations will lead the workplace operations and service desk teams supporting employees with end-user technology needs. This technology leader is well versed in standards, incident response, technologies, and operational management of modern workplace technologies. This leader will ensure that proactive customer-focused support is the top priority of workplace operations while leading the operating model with compliance and security at the forefront of all actions and results.

What will you do?
  • Lead and manage daily operations of the workplace technology and service desk teams.
  • Establish and uphold standards of excellence for the end user experience.
  • Develop and implement hardware standards in support of a modern workplace.
  • Develop and manage inventory/asset strategies to ensure timely procurement and deployment of end user technology needs.
  • Leads the process for onboarding/offboarding of end user technologies.
  • Owns the technical relationship with assigned vendors and partners that is expected to drive a mentality of continuous improvement across all end user platforms.
  • Utilizes metrics of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of end user incident/request KPIs, MTTR, SLA, and more to inform and continuously improve the end-user experience while maintaining compliance and security standards.
  • Partners proactively with technology teams and business partners to understand future technology needs.
  • Presents thoughtful solutions to business technology needs that align with budgets.


What do you need to succeed?
  • 10+ years of technology management experience, leading a team and interfacing with employees throughout an organization at all levels
  • 8+ years managing Service Desk and/or End User computing teams
  • 7+ years’ experience working with Microsoft Azure and Office365 tools and platforms
  • 5+ years working with ServiceNow or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent experience
  • Experience managing direct and indirect resources supporting Level 1 through Level 3 incident and response tasks.
  • Experience leading a team of engineers
  • Thorough understanding of how to implement and enforce SLAs and other metrics.
  • Ability to prioritize, collaborate, and delegate work that includes long-term, short-term, and immediate deliverables
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills that work well in problem-solving and troubleshooting situations
