Come join the Outback family as a Dishwasher, where you will be responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the dishes and small wares at the restaurant. Dishwashers are also responsible for trash disposal and linen bag removal. A Dishwasher will make sure the washed items meet the rinse and wash temperature criteria for each state. As a Dishwasher, you’ll help to provide each customer with an AUS-SOME dining experience in the restaurant, that makes each Guests day better by showcasing our food on perfectly clean plates and silverware. Have no worries, just fun!

The Dishwasher is also responsible for:

• Executing Outback’s standards on food specifications
• Following all food safety standards for our guests
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environmentThe dishwasher washes dishes in accordance with Outback’s procedures and instructions.

Physical Demands

• Able to move quickly with urgency.
• Able to move items up to 35 lbs. for distance up to 25 feet.
• Able to remain standing and active for an 8 to 12-hour shift.
• Able to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures (above 140 degrees / below 40 degrees).
• Able to hear, understand and respond to colleague’s requests in a loud environment.
• Able to tolerate exposure to and /or contact with seafood without an allergic reaction or sensitivity.
• Skill and coordination at using hands to perform kitchen duties.
• Able to wear vinyl or latex gloves.
• Able to tolerate exposure to chlorine sanitation solutions.

Position Type

This is a non-exempt position. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.

Work Environment

Work is in a kitchen setting with exposure to extreme temperatures (above 140 degrees / below 40 degrees) and loud environment.

Education and Experience

High School diploma or GED.
