Oakley Transport Inc is currently hiring for an Over-the-road Maintenance Coordinator for our facility based in Lake Wales Florida. The OTR Maintenance Coordinator will monitor the computer and phone lines for incoming communications concerning vehicle repairs and arrange repairs in accordance with Oakley approved procedures. The OTR Maintenance Coordinator will also accept incoming estimates and invoices; process invoices and issue payments. The OTR Maintenance Coordinator will also perform various clerical duties related to the Maintenance Department.

The OTR Maintenance Coordinator will search databases and websites for repair facilities. The coordinator will also monitor databases to schedule vehicle preventative maintenance services, in addition to monitoring vehicle repair progress and maintain the correct vehicle status in database systems. The Maintenance Coordinator will stay up to date with various manufacturer warranty information.

SHIFT AVAILABLE: MONDAY – FRIDAY 8am TO 5pm AND ROTATING SATURDAYS

Qualifications:

• Proper phone etiquette
• Proficient in Microsoft programs
• Able to prioritize with a sense of urgency and follow through
• Knowledge & experience of DOT out of service criteria
• Fundamentals of class 8 tractor and trailer repairs
• Experience with or aptitude for maintenance scheduling

Qualified candidate must have superior judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills and a proven record of taking the initiative and personal responsibility to use those skills effectively, both individually and as a member of a team.
