The Logistics Order Support Coordinator will be responsible for analyzing and auditing Accessorial charges levied to GEA and disputing incorrect or inaccurate fines. In addition, they will provide feedback regarding carrier performance to the Logistics Managers to improve on time delivery of product. They may also be responsible for communicating with customers to schedule daily shipments out of a specified warehouse or for a specific customer account utilizing the ERP system, Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). Competencies required at developing to proficient in the following areas:
  • Business Acumen with a keen awareness and ability to judge business situations Supplier Relationship Management: Ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders to manage supplier relationships
  • Financial Analytics: Ability to review financial data
  • Strong systems Capability & Technology Skills- Oracle OTM, Oracle ERP Systems, CICS, IDS, PD, CustomerNet, iSupplier, Four Kites
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • High focus on customer service
  • Clear thinker in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience working in a team environment
  • Capable of multi-tasking and providing strong attention to detail
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or minimum of two years of relevant work experience in logistics, customer service, transportation
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Web Based applications
  • Proficient in Oracle OTM, iSupplier, and Four Kites
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in order service, sales, transportation, or logistics
  • Previous experience in working from Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
  • Views changes in our internal and external processes as an opportunity to grow and improve
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field of study
Working Conditions:
  • This is a work remote position that will require occasional visits to Appliance Park in Louisville, KY for meetings, training
  • Will only consider candidates currently in the Louisville metro area (1-2 hrs of city center) or those willing to relocate to this area
  • Candidate must have reliable, high-speed internet connection with at least 30mb download speed – cable or fiber (NO dial-up, satellite or cellular hotspots) required. You must demonstrate these speeds to qualify for this role.
  • Candidate must have smartphone with Android OS or iPhone to log into company's VPN
