The Documentation Specialist position is the first entry point into our commodity Sales, Marketing and Logistics Team. This position works closely with our Sales Teams to ensure our products are delivered to our customers. The documentation team is responsible for all documentation matters related to getting our products to market including: dealing with custom brokers & transportation carriers, rates, accounts payable, invoicing & claims processing. The documentation team is part of the Shared Services Division which is responsible for all of West Fraser’s North American commodities: SPF Lumber, SYP Lumber, OSB, Pulp, Plywood, MDF and LVL.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately verify & process invoices.
  • Perform weekly reconciliations.
  • Resolve invoice issues.
  • Support & perform various functions within the documentation team as needed.
  • Collaborating with teams in other West Fraser Offices.

  • Strong attention to detail with proven accuracy
  • Self-motivated and a team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Adaptable, with the demonstrated ability to learn in-house software programs
  • Works effectively in a fafast-pacednvironment
