Camp Bow Wow is seeking enthusiastic dog lovers for the position of Camp Counselors and Shift Leaders. As a Camp Counselor or Shift Leader, you will be responsible for the care of dogs to include:

• Monitoring groups of Dogs in play yards, maintaining safety, petting and loving them.
• Monitoring dog behavior to ensure a fun and safe time for all dogs at Camp.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of dog kennels, play yards and facilities
• Bathing and Nail Trimming
• Feeding and providing fresh water
• Passing medications - Only Pills, Drops, Creams and Sprays. No needles.
• Customer service - Engaging in conversations with pet parents about their dogs experience at Camp.
• Taking, processing and entering payments
• Answering phones
• Checking dogs in/out
• Entering boarding reservations
• Enrolling new dogs by setting up new dog interviews/dog behavior assessments.
• Tour new clients through the Camp to highlight the benefits of dog socialization.
• And best of all, petting, cuddling and comforting dogs

We are seeking Full and Part-Time candidates who have flexible availability to include Holidays and Weekends, as needed. Experience with Dogs is preferred, however, we will train candidates who are enthusiastic about learning how to care for dogs in a Day Care/Boarding environment.

***Shift Leader duties include the above listed duties plus leading shift, opening/closing camp, settling cash drawer, checking feeding and medication logs, handling crisis situations and problem solving with staff members and Pet Parents.

For Shift Leader, we do ask that you have experience working in a dog daycare and boarding facility or are hoping to gain the skills needed for this position.
