Do you have professional or volunteer experience working with dogs or other animals? Do you wish you could bring your pup to work? We have great news for you; Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services has an immediate opening for an energetic, organized individual to be the star of our playroom as a Canine Coach.
As the Canine Coach, you are responsible for working closely with our attendees in order to create a safe and fun environment while participating in high-quality practices for the satisfaction of our clients... we are live, on camera daily for pet parents to see how much their pups enjoy our crew!
Our Expectations:
- Consistent and timely attendance
- Ability to clean dog-related, bodily messes
- Willingness to learn dog behavior and handling
- Ability to complete online training courses
- Following care instructions specifically tailored to each dog
- Desire to learn additional care skills like grooming/bathing!
- Prioritze safety for yourself and our pups
- Positively influence our workplace culture
Qualifications:
- MUST love dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds.
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk throughout 6-7 hour shift
- Flexible schedule. We are in need of candidates to work 2 weekend days a month
- Previous animal handling/care experience preferred, not required!
- Proficient written and verbal communication
- Bathing/grooming experience preferred
