We're looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented and energetic Engineer to help us solve various problems. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to effectively communicate with personnel at all levels of an organization in order to provide recommendations for improving procedures and increasing efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Apply engineering skills to design and develop architectural shop drawings.
• Improve the efficiency and quality of programming and fabrication methods.
• Make sure that the drafting, engineering and fabrication quality standards are met.

AutoCAD with an emphasis on:

• Xref's
• Dynamic Blocks
• Sheet Set Management
• Using Document Fields
• Mechanical Drafting Mindset (are the line orthogonal and connected. Do horizontal elements interact with vertical elements properly)
• Plot/Publishing to PDFs and Paper Printers
• CAD Standards Management
• Part Block Creation and File Organization
• CUI and Enterprise CUI Management
• Tool Pallet/Menu Creation
• 3D Modeling with an emphasis on accurate and complete design
• Complex Floor plan layouts with accurate back check on Civil/Arch/Struct backgrounds from coordinating trades
• Data linking CAD tables with Excel
• Layering Organization
• Excel proficiency including sums, vlookups, if/then, algebra, linking sheet tabs, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Montclair, CA 91763: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• AutoCAD: 1 year (Preferred)
