Job description

Primary Functions:

• Bring vehicles to gas station to refuel.
• Deliver vehicles to customers.
• Driving units to and from our lot in Brooklyn and Astoria.
• Driving units to vendors, dealers, and auctions.
• Driving units to the customer to swap the units.
• Inspect outgoing vehicle and returns.

Secondary Functions:

• Obtain reservations report from the office or previous shift
• Prepare units to go out with customers by making sure that the vehicle has enough gas, DEF, washer fluid, battery is charged, vehicle is clean, etc.)
• Arrange the lot by placing vehicles in the proper location on a daily basis
• Do daily inventory by shifts
• Park vehicles in space provided, provide customers with parking stub, and create parking report at end of shift
• Make sure inspection, registration and insurance is up to date
• Transporting units between lots, vendors, dealers and auctions
• Release units to customers
• Take pictures prior to releasing vehicle and making notes of any scratched, dings, etc.
• Make sure that contract and units match the outgoing vehicle list
• Ensuring that the customer knows how to operate the vehicle and answer any question customer may have
• Ask customers if they have anything to report
• Inspect vehicle and report if there is any damage to Damage Coordinator, put vehicle in maintenance if need be, describe the issue and mark the issue on windshield for maintenance
• Detail and wash interior and exterior
• Clean up areas daily
• Have awareness of Inventory; request supplies to replenish stock in timely fashion
• Park clean vehicle in designated area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
