Rosewood Hotels and Resorts is looking for an E-Commerce and Retail Coordinator. The E-Commerce and Retail Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and smooth running of all aspects and functions of the Online Shop and Retail logistics in accordance with Rosewood standards. This role acts as the lead communication touch point for both internal and external customers. This is a temporary and part-time role.
Essentials Duties & Responsibilities
- Liaise with third-party company, Techsembly, regarding website updates with product information, descriptions, photos, etc. as necessary.
- Coordinate with collaborative brands to see orders are going through in an efficient way.
- Manage and maintain product inventory to ensure proper quantities are in stock and reorder when necessary.
- Coordinate and manage third-party fulfillment center to ensure they maintain proper stock levels as well as gift wrapping materials.
- Ensure all gift items are wrapped and packaged according to Rosewood standards.
- Coordinate with The Carlyle Purchasing department for reorders or coordinate directly with vendors for ordering either new items and/or reorders.
- Manage emails/phone calls regarding guest feedback, issues and tracking of orders.
- Create a monthly report with recap of all sales figures and share with appropriate Carlyle management.
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
All other duties as required.
Qualifications
Experience: 1-2 years’ retail or administrative experience, preferably for a luxury or ultra-luxury establishment.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent education required. Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent degree in Hotel Management preferred.
General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data. Advanced math skills; ability to produce complex reports using room data and Microsoft Excel.
Language: Required to speak, read, and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to exert physical effort in transporting a minimum of 35 pounds, endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding.
Systems Knowledge: Proficient with Windows Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher.
Hourly Rate: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
