Early Childhood Aftercare Assistant
The Emerson Waldorf School seeks an early childhood aftercare assistant to join our early childhood faculty.
The Early Childhood assistant will be responsible for young children who attend our afternoon program. The afternoon rhythm consists of rest, snack time, and play. The assistant will work closely with the Early Childhood faculty to maintain the program. Areas of responsibility include assisting in setting up the classroom for nap time, creating a mood of rest and quiet, restoring the room to order after rest, monitoring outdoor play, and dismissing the children.
This is a part-time, hourly position. The job is five afternoons/week from mid-August to mid-June.
