Just in Time Teachers partners with multiple childcare centers throughout Minnesota's southeast metro area. When they need a substitute, we send you as the (teacher, assistant teacher, or aide) to help in their Daycare center for the day.

As a team member of our team, you will have the opportunity to get experience in a variety of different early childhood centers while making a positive impact on the lives of young children. In addition, you may also have the opportunity to select your perfect full-time career placement.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children ages 6 weeks-5 years of age
• Managing behavior and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere
• Communicating with other staff members and following instructions for what each learning center needs from you that day as the substitute.
• Following pre-planned lesson plans
• Implementing developmentally appropriate activities for the classroom.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of child development and best practices in early childhood education.
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for working with young children.
• Flexibility and willingness to work in various centers
• Experience working with young children in a classroom setting.

Benefits:

• Hourly Wage: $15.25-$19.00/hr (based on MN qualification standards)
