Searching for early childhood teachers and assistants teachers holding at least 6-9 early childhood/child development course credits, and at least 2 years of college education to join our classrooms and infuse new ideas and energy into our school.

Qualifications:

-Must have minimum 6-9 early childhood credit hours or more(Lead Teachers)

-Must have minimum 1 year experience working in Early Childhood (or related Field)

-Must have completed at least 2 yrs of college coursework(Lead Teachers)

-Must be eligible to work in the U.S

-Must have a passion for children and teaching

-Must be a strong communicator and used to following multiple procedures

-Must meet DCFS qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Model positive and respectful behavior
  • Interact with children to support exploration, learning, and social-emotional skills
  • Meet the specific needs of each child
  • Foster a respect for cultural differences and community
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing environment
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
  • Work and communicate effectively with all staff (including collaborating teacher)
  • Participate in staff and training meetings
  • Follow Lily Pad policies, procedures, and curriculum
  • Abide by DCFS rules and regulations
  • Be able to sit on the floor and speak to children at eye level
  • 3 Letters of recommendation
  • Pass a background check/fingerprint clearance
  • COVID vaccinated or submit weekly negative COVID tests
  • Complete all required employee paperwork before start date

*Pay: Based on education and experience.

Pay: $15.40 - $22.00 per hour
