Echo Vascular Tech (RDCS) - Per Diem

Take initiative and balance the perfect blend of patient care and clinical practices. In this role, you will provide critical inpatient/emergency echocardiograms or DVT studies, in addition to non-emergency cases. Bring the best in care and caring, all while providing quality patient assessments and ensuring optimal diagnostic results.
This is a per diem position - coverage is primarily needed for weekend shifts.
Preferred Criteria
- Previous hospital experience
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification
Required Criteria
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound or Echocardiography program
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) within one year of hire (registry eligible at hire)
- At least 1 year of previous experience
- Ability to recognize peripheral vascular and cardiac abnormalities and to obtain additional views or perform cardiac dopplers as indicated
- Ability to operate all vascular testing equipment, EKG machines, as well as ultrasound equipment in the unit
