EcoSys Application Consultant - Remote
POWER Engineers, Inc. provides Program Management services for our clients’ major electric power delivery projects. POWER differentiates itself in the market by applying highly skilled and collaborative talent, along with processes and innovative technology that can be adapted to each client’s program needs. We are seeking a uniquely talented and experienced EcoSys Application Consultant to help drive operational excellence in our delivery of program and portfolio management services to our clients. Ideally, you will possess experience supporting businesses in the construction and energy industries. This position will offer you an exciting opportunity to solidify POWER’s position with our clients as the program and project delivery partner of choice.
EcoSys is a core application in our Program Management Information Solution (PMIS) we use to help our clients manage some of the most innovative and important portfolios, programs, and projects in the industry. We seek energetic people who are skilled professionals but at the same time excellent team players and communicators. The successful candidate can work remotely from any location in the U.S. (Please state your location in the application).
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist the PMIS Department with EcoSys implementations including planning, requirements gathering, configuration, testing, go-live, training, and post-go-live support
- Elicit, analyze, and document use cases and requirements
- Develop high-level and detailed requirements documentation and process maps
- Work with internal/external stakeholders to transform use cases and requirements into workable solutions that meet both POWER’s and the clients’ requirements
- Manage the implementation project according to the established work plan
- Configure EcoSys spreadsheets, reports, dashboards, screen layouts, actions/action batches, and other configuration objects as needed
- Set up web services APIs and other types of integrations between EcoSys and other Systems (e.g., ERP Systems, Microsoft Project, P6, Power BI, etc.)
- Develop and manage test execution plans
- Develop test scripts
- Respond to day-to-day EcoSys support requests
- Perform EcoSys Administration functions as needed
- Maintain EcoSys user security/permissions and menus
- Develop end-user and administrator user guides and other training assets
- Provide progress reports
- Stay abreast with the latest EcoSys product enhancements and releases
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or equivalent technology field of study from an accredited university
- Five (5) + years of hands-on experience with EcoSys Hexagon configuration and implementation
- Five (5) + years of experience with project cost management systems or project controls
- Working knowledge of project management in a consulting engineering environment, engineering, construction, project controls, earned value management, and
- Highly proficient in EcoSys configuration and administration with direct experience with EcoSys integrations
- Analytical thinker who can translate complex business needs into clear requirements and practical solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Keen attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to travel up to 20%
Ability to Work Remotely
The candidate selected for this position may work remotely full-time at a location other than a POWER Engineers designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a POWER office for periodic meetings.

DOE Salary: The pay range for this position is $85,000-$140,000 annually; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
