The Opportunity

Our team is dedicated to improving how professionals experience their careers at Black & Veatch through strategic initiatives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support day-to-day operations for the EDGE, Black & Veatch’s early career rotational program.

The Team

As part of BV Business Enablement, you will be part of the critical and forward-thinking group that enables our people, projects, and businesses to be as successful as possible by providing creative solutions. Functions in this group include CIO/Global Information Technology, Diode, ESH&S, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Risk Management, and Government Affairs and Real Estate and Building Services.

Key Responsibilities

EDGE

  • Work with EDGE participants to understand career interests
  • Track and maintain records of EDGE participants
  • Clearly communicate with EDGE professionals, supervisors, department heads, HR partners, and office administration to assist in aligning upcoming rotation logistics
  • Help implement and communicate refreshed EDGE criteria to professionals and business leaders
  • Ensure EDGE professionals are meeting program criteria
  • Assist with creation and management of EDGE Chapters
  • Assist with creation of Quarterly Newsletters and general communication to EDGE professionals
  • Organize and facilitate EDGE orientation
  • Manage relocation packages as needed
  • Attend Staffing meetings as needed and work with business leaders to identify future rotation spots for EDGE professionals
  • Help coordinate annual training summit
  • Support maintenance of Operation Manuals, Guides and other supporting documentation

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support other areas of Career Engagement including experiential learning, career advocacy, Dimension and NextOpps as needed.
  • Perform scheduled and ad-hoc reporting. Partner with advanced workforce analytics team to develop efficiencies in reporting via mediums such as Microsoft Power BI
  • Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements

Minimum Qualifications

All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following:

  • HS diploma required
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations

  • Black & Veatch experience preferred
  • BS Degree in business or human resources preferred
