We are seeking a passionate, friendly, enthusiastic and professional EHR/EMR Technical Support Specialist who will support our therapy team into efficient and effective use of our documentation program and hold staff accountable for timely completion of their outlined tasks within the program. The perfect candidate will be innovative and think outside of the box on how to improve processes and enhance the experience. This position is in person/possibly hybrid- Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:00pm.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ongoing support with a positive customer service attitude
- Ensures staff competency and consistency of system workflows and procedures in all offices
- Holds frequent training and orientation to assist staff in program utilization
- Adheres to Company Compliance program, by reporting improper or unethical conduct, violation of applicable laws, regulations or program requirements
- Creates or revises materials as necessary to reflect the needs of the audience, makes application enhancements, and system upgrades
- Participates in program testing and go-live activities, including support of new projects or system enhancements
- Participates in business and clinical operations meetings to assess user feedback, gather future requirements for modifications, and provide status on competency, adoptions, and utilization rates
- Remain accessible for all staff during normal business hours as a troubleshooting resource
- Any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization's values
- Create and follow up on support tickets with IT
- Communicate changes, improvements, or glitches in real time.
- Ensure completion of documentation within 24 hours
Qualifications:
- Experience as a technical support specialist for a home health agency
- Knowledge of instructional techniques and training methodologies in order to develop, implement, evaluate, and revise training programs
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment
- Training and troubleshooting experience
- Exhibit the ability to research and resolves technical problems of moderate complexity, typically escalated from first line support teams
- Exhibit the ability to document, track, and monitor the problem using applicable systems and tools

Salary: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
