Southern Integrated Solutions & Consulting (SISC) is looking for a full time Electrical Foreman with a minimum of 5 years Electrical experience in municipal & industrial spaces. The successful candidate will work under the general direction of the Company's Superintendents, Foreman and I&E Manager. The Journeyman is responsible for performing a full range of electrical work including the installation and maintenance of industrial electrical systems. This position works with high and low voltage systems and performs all work in accordance with the Nation Electrical Code (NED). The individual must understand the importance of prioritization of safety, quality, and production and be willing to work accordingly.

Primary Job Functions:

• Provide leadership and education to support Southern Integrated Solutions & Consulting’s, zero-incident safe culture/ zero-defect quality culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities and operations.
• Ensure personnel comply with company and customer policies and procedures.
• Follow guidelines, handbooks, state and federal codes / regulations, verbal/written instructions and directions to perform the assigned task.
• Maintain records for work order / work permits and material used.
• Prepare JSA reports, work plans and conduct inspections of worksites and equipment as required.
• Keep work area clean and in orderly condition.
• Must be familiar with hazards associated with working at heights
• Review all Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Install, repair, and maintain power controls, breaker boxes, electrical outlets, light switches, light fixtures, electrical wiring, fuses, and other components of electrical system.
• Inspect, isolate, troubleshoot, and repair electrical malfunctions using various test instruments.
• Perform routine electrical repair projects and preventative maintenance.
• Test electrical equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Plan the layout and wiring of new or modified installations
• Select, install, and pull wiring to the required equipment locations.
• Estimate cost, time, record keeping documents and materials for electrical projects.
• Maintain time and track production
• Inspect quality of work to ensure company standards and project specifications are met
• Assign responsibilities and coordinate the work of field personnel.
• Interface with project managers, customers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow.
• The position may/will require and individual to travel from onshore location to offshore location by helicopter and/or motor vessels in various weather conditions. The individual will then be transferred onto platform by means of swing rope or personnel basket.
• Evaluate and ensure personnel are qualified and competent to perform their assigned tasks.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
