ADMINISTRATIVE - MANAGERIAL :

QUALIFICATIONS :
- Minimum of five (5) years of successful elementary teaching (K-6) experience.
- Successful principal experience (K-6), minimum of three (3) years is preferred.
- Hold appropriate Ohio certification/licensure as of August l, 2023.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with people at all levels of responsibility.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in leadership, service, and quality education.
- Evidence of community involvement.
- Evidence of involvement in professional organizations and activities.
- Participation in a program of professional growth activities (workshops, graduate studies, etc.).
- Possess a comprehension of elementary school curriculum and instructional practices.
- Possess a working knowledge of current educational accountability models.
- Must be OTES 2.0 credentialed.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
EDUCATIONAL AND INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP
- Cooperatively establishes explicit goals for the school and creates long-range planning to achieve the goals.
- Fosters a positive school climate, with a strong sense of academic mission, and with high expectations conveyed to all students/faculty.
- Stimulates and motivates staff to maximum performance in instruction and management.
- Develops a realistic and objective system of accountability for learning.
- Develops and implements the evaluation of the staff.
- Cooperatively develops a professional development program.
- Serves as a facilitator of educational/instructional development.
ADMINISTRATIVE - MANAGERIAL :
- Develops, appropriates and manages budget.
- Implements Board policies and district administrative practices.
- Plans and conducts staff meetings.
- Provides for health, safety, and welfare of students.
- Maintains standards of student discipline designed to command respect of students/parents.
- Supervises the preparation of all school reports, student records, and maintains a record-keeping system.
