- Experience leading a program or group toward a common goal required
- Passionate about working with elementary-aged students
- Work collaboratively to direct student services related to student management, discipline, and academic achievement
- Provide supervision and evaluation of building faculty and staff and perform a variety of public relations functions
- Strong leadership and time management skills required
- Oversees educators in the school, providing consistent feedback and evaluations that are timely and constructive
- Effective decision-making skills while acting within the district policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Knowledge of K-5 curriculum and instructional best practices including integration of technology

Job Summary:
Monticello Public Schools is seeking candidates for K-5 Principal position to begin on August 1, 2023. We are seeking an exceptional leader who will be dedicated to collaborating with the staff as well as coordinate with our elementary and secondary administrative teams to establish and maintain a positive, inclusive and effective environment for student success. The contract is a 11-month position. Salary range $110,500 to $118,963 based on experience.
