Job Overview:

Allivet.com, an industry leading eCommerce retail site in the pet pharmacy and health space, is seeking an Email Marketing Manager for our growing e-commerce business to bring best practices to our email marketing channel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and build overall email marketing strategy for multiple brands
• Develop a communication cadence and manager email calendar.
• Create various email segments and launch campaigns based off customer data.
• A/B testing campaigns, determining KPI and reporting on results.
• Analyze customer data to get insights and help develop strategy.
• Suggest methods for improvement, testing schedule.
• Segments list based on behaviors like last purchase, or attributes like dog breed (we have more data on the customer than most companies – so if you like data, this is the role for you!)
• Create custom campaigns based on those lists.
• Work with Marketing and Merchandising to negotiate promos that we could push, create a marketing calendar, and make sure all planned sends are made
• Fully immerse yourself in understanding the ins and outs of the business in order to drive as much revenue from email as possible
• Work with design and copy team to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years of email marketing experience in a B2C eCommerce environment
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. A self-starter who does not need to be micro-managed, and will be the one coming to management with ideas, not the other way around
• This job is tailored to someone who enjoys and excels at the analytics and sales aspect of email marketing, as opposed to the tactical design aspect. We have a designer who will continue to execute the actual creation of the emails. This position will be overseeing that role, and will be the one to come up with the marketing calendar, content, campaigns, negotiate campaign promos, analyze the data, and find areas for improvement, etc.
