Overview:

The Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Coordinator has the overall responsibility for coordinating the EMDR Program at Trilogy. They are responsible for the design, implementation, and strategic growth of the EMDR Program. The EMDR Coordinator will continuously monitor the quality of EMDR services provided and make recommendations to clinical leadership to ensure continuous improvement. They will also be responsible for providing EMDR and other clinical services to clients across all levels of care. The EMDR Coordinator will provide client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed services to clients with severe mental illnesses and co-occurring substance use/addiction disorders utilizing a harm reduction approach.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual EMDR services to clients across all levels of care
  • Provide ongoing supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring to direct reports and any employee who provides EMDR services across the organization
  • Develop a plan to measure clinical outcomes that includes standardized assessment tools and concrete measures of the effectiveness of the treatment approach
  • Provide clinical services to clients in the Therapy Services program
  • Facilitate EMDR consultation meetings for employees providing EMDR services ensuring mastery of skills and maximization of effectiveness with assigned clients.
  • Develop and implement EMDR consultation groups at other Trilogy locations to expand opportunities for employee training and access to clients
  • Assess appropriateness of new referrals to the EMDR Program and assign them accordingly
  • Create and update training resources related to the EMDR Program ensuring materials are reflective of best practices
  • Manage purchase and distribution of all EMDR tools and materials.
  • Prepare program outcome materials and market the EMDR Program to other mental health/social service providers, MCOs, hospitals, schools, etc. to generate appropriate referrals and build recognition for the program
  • Provide comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessment services to individuals, couples and families.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with the input of the client and their team, which includes providers and natural supports. Collaborate with members of the client’s team to ensure quality of treatment and coordination of care
  • Serve as an advocate for clients, linking them to needed community services; assess client’s personal, medical, social, emotional, and environmental situation to plan for linkage and treatment course
  • Maintain documentation and chart in compliance with Medicaid, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Services (CARF), and organization standards
  • Supervise and assign tasks to student workers
  • Perform other related duties and/or projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must have a) received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by the date of hire or b) submitted and received approval of a religious or medical exemption, prior to start date, in order to be considered.
  • Masters’ Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling required
  • Minimum two years’ experience working with people with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses
  • Completed an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) approved training program
  • Minimum one year experience providing EMDR therapy services to clients
  • EMDR certification requiredor must obtain certification within one year of hire
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, or Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts preferred
