POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs comprehensive Workforce Inclusion Network (WIN) services per The MAC Policy and Procedure and adhering to the MAC Core Values. This role will provide vocational training, supervision, and support to members with disabilities to enhance employability and employee development as well as facilitate employee integration within the existing environment The position involves developing and maintaining long-term interaction with MAC Members, their families, and MACers for medical, therapeutic, community support services, and related service needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Current BWIP, CPWIC, or CWIC Certification (or completion of initial certification within 9 months of employment) to provide comprehensive benefits counseling/work incentives counseling required.
  • Current UNT Job Skills Training and Job Placement Specialist Certification (or completion within 6 months of employment) required.
  • Experience supporting employment for diverse workgroups, such as veterans and people with disabilities required.
  • Teaching, counseling, or similar experience preferred.
  • Experience with community social services and case management techniques preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in job development and community outreach for people with disabilities preferred.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Ability to learn or knowledge of Work Incentives for individuals with disabilities and reporting to Social Security Administration and ability to provide individualized benefits counseling/work incentives counseling services.
  • Knowledge of Employment Networks (ENs) and the Ticket-to-Work Program.
  • Experience or knowledge of employment for diverse populations, such as veterans and people with disabilities.
  • Ability to conduct large-group, small-group and individual instructional sessions required.
  • Experience with electronic health records or content management systems.
  • Bilingual
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

ESSENTIAL FUNCATIONS:
  • Oversee and manage all WIN operations.
  • Represent WIN, coordinate, and collaborate with The MAC Executive Leadership.
  • Execute on WIN mission to increase employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
  • Engage, educate, and empower individuals with disabilities and their caregivers to obtain competitive, integrated employment.
  • Actively participate and regularly attend WIN Member trainings/meetings by sharing information, contributing ideas, facilitating, and actively listening.
  • Provide effective Benefits and Work Incentives Counseling for WIN Members.
  • Conduct training that facilitates the achievement of employment goals for WIN Members.
  • Collaborate with local agencies to create written employment plans and track progress towards goal achievement.
  • Build community awareness, perception and understanding of The MAC Employment Support Center and its mission.
  • Develop written materials that support the mission of The MAC WIN Center.
  • Present WIN services to individuals, caregivers, community, and business sectors.
  • Facilitate WIN events in the community such as job fairs, employer luncheons, networking events.
  • Facilitate community partner orientation, training, and assistance to WIN services.
  • Report on progress in statistical and narrative reports.
  • Regular attendance and timeliness required per The MAC guidelines.
  • Participation in all applicable performance evaluation programs is required.
  • Perform MAC Quality Assurance (MWQ) on program within required timelines.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire MAC WIN team.
  • Responsible for training of new MAC WIN Specialist and interns on all aspects of WIN to include MAC Navigation System and MAC University (MAC-U).
  • Perform annual performance reviews of assigned WIN staff.
  • Assist in updating WIN Policies and Procedures, as needed.
  • Carries a reduced caseload to ensure sufficient supervisory time for assigned WIN staff and other assigned administrative duties.
  • Assist with monthly reporting, as needed.
  • Ensure all collected data is accessible in the MAC Navigation System and maintain MAC Member record.
  • Participate in MAC Care Coordination meetings as a MAC Member advocate providing relevant information to all MAC stakeholders and asking relevant questions on behalf of assigned MAC Member.
  • Stays current on community agencies and resources to provide accurate, timely information.
  • Conduct MAC pre/post surveys, per timeline identified in MAC Policy and Procedures.
  • Adhere to established productivity benchmarks.
  • Discuss MAC Member grievances with leadership and develop action plans to address and correct.
  • Obtain MAC Member feedback and provide Leadership with appropriate recommendations to improve MAC navigation services.
  • Participate in training/community networking meetings.
  • Participate in all meetings and education sessions regarding MAC Navigation System.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Position based in a standard office environment with possible travel to meetings and outreach events.
  • Core business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • After-hours work is required from time to time, including evenings and weekends; the ability to work remotely when necessary.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position regularly, up to 85% of the time.
  • Frequently move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. and carry office materials and supplies up to 20 pounds.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as calculator, phone, fax, copier, etc. and a personal computer.
  • Ability to exchange accurate information in person and over the phone.
  • Primarily work indoors and within the community.
