Job Description

The primary job responsibilities of an Engagement Manager are to improve client engagement for a company by assisting with projects and helping solve problems. They play a pivotal role in forging a strong business-to-business relationship between the company and clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Being the voice of the client into ELLKAY and voice of ELLKAY to the client
• Facilitating communication and resolving conflicts across all levels of client organization
• Work with a team (project managers, technical team members, as examples) on client projects
• Ability to influence internal and client stakeholders as a liaison between clients and cross-functional internal teams
• Responsible for client experience through implementation
• Primary client point of contact and accountable executive throughout the implementation process
• Partner with Sales on implementations, opportunities and escalations
• Monitor and report the process of engagements on a regular (e.g. weekly) basis to senior client leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Promote the ELLKAY organization through social media and other marketing activities

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects at a time
• Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships at all levels of the client organization
• Ability to mentor and coach Project Managers if and as needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
• Critical thinking, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
• 5-7 years of experience in related field, including working with senior level client executives
