BAE Systems is seeking an Intermediate Engineer (SW) to join our team supporting the United States Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center under the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services contract located at the Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The C5ISR Center is an applied research and advanced technology development center which develops and integrates C5ISR technologies that enable information dominance and decisive lethality for the networked Warfighters. The C5ISR Center provides the Army with secure communications/networking technologies through R&D innovations. The successful candidate will serve as an Engineer supporting CSIA engineering and operations.
This position designs and develops applications and systems software, collaborates with hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of network and computing infrastructure. Determines computer user needs, analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls, designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Must have considerable experience in providing highly specialized applications and operational analysis. Experience in planning and supporting network and computing infrastructure. Have knowledge in networking technologies. Is cognizant, knowledgeable and contributes to all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, modeling, simulation, testing, integration, documentation and presentation phases.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Minimum education of Bachelor's Degree. Minimum degree requirement of Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required
- Minimum years of experience of 5 years. 8 years of additional Relevant Experience may be substituted for education requirement
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT I; Network+ desired
- Secret level clearance
