Job description

We have a DIRECT HIRE opportunity for an Engineering Drafting Technician on 1st shift 8a-5p Monday-Friday. Pay is $21.00-$23.00 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• The primary responsibility for this position will be to generate new tooling drawings, maintain blueprint system, and obtaining signatures when necessary for newly released drawings.
• Also Responsible for inputting data into Accumatica, including PDF file of Blueprint, Correct part #, and description.
• Responsibility also includes reverse engineering tooling by way of measurement to create a suitable blueprint for part creation.
• This role will be able to work independently with limited supervision to accomplish required assignments.
• Will work with teams in multiple divisions to support input of blueprints into the correct location and to ensure those prints are updated and maintained.
• Will also be responsible for support of Construction group with blueprint creation and CAD data when needed.

Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:

· An Associates Degree or diploma in drafting or a minimum of 1+ years experience in a drafting or design position.

· Experience with Pro/E, Creo, and/or Auto CAD (2000 or above) design software or a viable software system.

Language skills

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret related technical documents.

· Ability to generate technical drawings following standard drafting principals. This includes but not limited to geometrical tolerances, tabulated drawings, and determining fitment tolerancing by use of JIS principals.
