This exciting and highly visible senior role based at our Corvallis, Oregon Design Center will challenge your technical and people skills to deliver the next generation of automotive image sensors into the vehicles of the future.

We seek to hire an Engineering Product Owner/chief engineer for our CMOS image sensor products responsible for meeting requirements and leading technical cross functional product development execution.

As an engineering product owner you will:

Be responsible for meeting requirements and leading technical cross-functional product development and execution

Be responsible to ensure program managers have an accurate overall product development plan, schedule and risk management plan

Be responsible to ensure the team is following semiconductor design engineering best practices and workflows

Lead a cross-functional team to ensure product development and execution is aligned with the committed plan of record

Responsible in ensuring product development process phase gate deliverable quality and integrity from the cross functional team.

Lead regular product development meetings ensuring schedules are updated and technical issues are addressed.

Lead the cross functional team and design team to follow our engineering design flow and gate reviews.

Lead detailed design reviews ensuring sign off by design leads and senior engineering management.

Raise engineering change requests as needed.

* Be detail oriented and have experience working with Quality techniques such as RCCA, 8D, Ishikawa, FTA etc.

Qualifications

Candidates might be best equipped for this role if they:

Have a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or Physics

Have experience of CMOS image sensor design and product development including analog and digital design, modelling, verification, physical verification and implementation, product engineering, product test, packaging and semiconductor technology development.

10+ years of relevant work experience in semiconductor product development

Professional project, risk and product management skills or qualifications.

Work experience with international and cross functional teams in a multi cultural environment

Demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Have some experience working in an Automotive Functional Safety design environment.
