Engineering Project Manager / Director

Horizon Engineering is a civil engineering, land surveying and landscape architectural services firm located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. We're searching for a full-time, salaried Engineering Project Manager with experience in Land Development or similar industry. We value individuals who possess an entrepreneurial spirit and who thrive on taking independent action. Successful candidate will have the opportunity to move into a corporate leadership position.

The Engineering Project Manager has a salary range of $81,000 to $125,000.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Land Development and Civil Design projects and clients
• Design / CAD work
• Preparation of drawings and reports
• Attend evening meetings
• Direct Horizon staff to complete project design and permitting
• Manage project coordination efforts with reviewing agencies and subconsultants
• Manage client contracts, proposals, and billing
• Marketing of the firm through trade organizations and centers of influence

Qualifications:

• 10 years’ experience in the Land Development or similar industry
• Licensed P.E. in state of PA (or ability to acquire PA license within one year of hire)
• Experience in stormwater design and permitting, sewage planning, subdivision and development processes, Erosion and Sediment Control approvals, NPDES Permitting
• Ability to utilize CAD software
• Strong communication skills, basic level financial accounting a plus
• Ability to manage a team across disciplines
