  • This position will be located in the Winston-Salem office location.

Job Summary:

The Mail Center Operations Associate II operates high speed/large capacity automated mail center equipment while performing all production-related functions with quality and efficiency. With minimal supervision, Associate II operates high speed/large capacity automated equipment and completes a range of mail center functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understands and achieves quality and timeliness expectations within specific areas of responsibility

  • Performs peer spot-checks, as needed

  • Verifies document quality; quality checks include machine set up, tap test, print and indicia verification; takes corrective action or escalates, as needed

  • Prioritizes workflow according to Service Level Agreements; meets the established standards for all processes, to maintain the overall work condition

  • Adheres to departmental and OSHA guidelines; adheres to equipment safety and environmental compliance standards and practices and monitors and alerts coworkers and leaders of safety issues

  • With minimal supervision, responsible for some set up processes and maintaining supply levels; equipment may include:

    • Roll feed and cut sheet printers

    • Insert equipment

    • Pre-sort mail equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 0 – 2 years of related experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Trained, certified and/or licensed in equipment usage

Functional Skills

  • Demonstrates the ability to anticipate, identify, reproduce, and resolve simple problems in area of specialty, including business, process and technical problems

  • Responds in a positive, constructive manner to issues, problems, questions and concerns

  • Follows directions and completes a range of responsibilities and processes with minimal supervision and guidance

  • Proficient in the use of basic PC commands and understands basic naming conventions (file, directory, path, and drives)

  • Fundamental understanding of features for (but not limited to) word processor, spreadsheet, graphics, or text editor in practical applications of moderate difficulty

The base range offered for the role is: $37,000 - $38,000 and may vary based on internal equity, and job-related skills, knowledge and experience; among other factors. Other financial components may be added as part of the competitive compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
