Job description

We are a growing construction company seeking an Entry Level Accountant/Bookkeeper with a background in the construction industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience using QuickBooks and other related software, and be eager to learn and grow within the organization. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits, and an opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization
• Perform monthly reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Conduct periodic audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Assist with payroll processing and related tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience working in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of QuickBooks and other accounting software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Looking to stay at a business for a long time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
