This is an exciting opportunity to join the Field Service South East and London (SEaL) Team, supporting the surveillance, prevention and control of infectious disease in two regions: South East and London. The Team is comprised of consultant epidemiologists, epidemiology scientists, analysts and administrative staff.
The Epidemiology and Information Analyst will support senior epidemiologist colleagues contributing to acute outbreak response and epidemiological investigations through collecting, extracting and analysing data. As well as, contributing to routine surveillance activities in a specific topic area (i.e. respiratory viruses). This will involve familiarity with various data sources to prepare descriptive epidemiology, respond to data requests, and produce routine surveillance reports
