This position will be responsible to:
Release equipment from rail ramps and depots.
Reposition equipment when required. Create empty repositioning bookings, issue transport orders, do rail billing if necessary and ensure equipment is moved as requested.
Redeliver equipment to be off hired as per notification from HO.
Release equipment for domestic bookings.
Ensure chassis availability in the area of responsibility.
Maintain inventory at needed levels in NA depots and Terminals minimizing idle.
Maintain high level of communication with Intermodal, Customer Service Import and Export, M&R, Port Operations departments as well as external customers.
To seek/maintain cost savings initiatives in corresponding areas that will benefit CMA CGM.
Must be eligible to work from 11:00AM to 8:00PM shift.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Good attention to detail and organization abilities.
Excellent communication skill. (verbal and written)
High ability to multitask
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Proficient computer skills to include all Microsoft applications. (excel, outlook, word)

Education and Experience Requirements:
College degree or 2 year minimum industry experience required.
Knowledge of shipping industry preferred.
