onsemi is seeking Engineering Manager in our East Fishkill, NY site to join our team and lead the EFK Equipment Excellence Team. The mission of the team is to support the entire equipment organization within Main Fab, Post Fab, and Probe and create sustainable processes and strategies that align with business objectives to enhance the overall success of the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

Engineering Manager responsibilities include leading a team of subject experts, including but not limited to; equipment maintenance budget/spending, equipment performance metrics, maintenance quality standards, project management of equipment installation and removals, maintenance training strategies, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Administration. Within those, oversee the following:

• Define & Implement Equipment Maintenance Standards & Business Processes based on Benchmark with other Fabs and Industry
• Equipment Performance Metrics (KPIs)
• Maintenance Plans
• Maintenance Change Review Board
• Maintenance & Equipment Steering Board
• Maintenance Cost & Budgets
• Project Management of Equipment Installations /Removals
• Maintenance Training Strategy

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Education- HS Diploma with equivalent industry and/or military experience or associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or another relevant engineering physical science discipline
• Experience – Minimum of 3 years of direct semiconductor experience.
• Must have the permanent right to work in the US without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A passion to lead, manage and direct a group of technicians with experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a demonstrated track record of facility maintenance and improvements.
• A proven leader, a self-starter, and a team player with excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to write and interpret technical documentation. (O&M manuals, spec sheets, P&IDs)
• History of execution with change management; continuous improvement methodologies, disciplines, and practices.
• Intermediate to Expert Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. (i.e Word, Excel, Access, Project, and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in project management.
