How you will spend your days as an Estimator:

• Provide accurate and efficient single-family home and remodeling estimating to include using electronic systems, outsourcing take-offs, Millwork take-offs, entering complete estimate into quote system, and data & system backups
• Supervise, maintain, manage, and improve the Division material estimating and quoting systems as agreed with sales and store managers
• Coordinate and supervise all outsourced estimating
• Maintain quote files & logs and have complete familiarity with all aspects of Division quoting systems
• Develop skills as a Deering inside salesperson to include facets of contractor & consumer sales, quote interview & specification process, help with growing sales and service levels, follow through on commitments, obtain and maintain a well-rounded knowledge of building materials, and keep up with new products & construction systems
• Maintain great customer relationships
