Overview
The Classroom Facilitator works with Interactive Video Conferencing (IVC) and Zoom instructors and students to ensure a beneficial learning environment. This is a part-time, non-benefited position (10 - 25 hours/week) located at the Salt Lake Center. Applicants must be available and willing to work late afternoons and evening.

Hours will vary by semester typically from 4:00-10:30 pm. Friday night and Saturday morning shifts may be required.

This position reports to the Director of Technology in Salt Lake. This is an ACA variable position.


Responsibilities

• Facilitate broadcasts of Interactive Video Conferencing (IVC) and Zoom courses.
• Setup classroom, operate equipment, trouble-shoot technical problems, proctor tests, collect assignments, and distribute class materials.
• Cover the Information Desk and interact and communicate professionally with faculty, students, administrators, and supervisor.
• Provide nightly updates to supervisor on technology or classroom issues.
• Assist with cleaning of classrooms, student lounge and other areas. Be willing to work a flexible schedule and help cover other facilitators shifts as necessary.
• All other duties as assigned.
