Being part of our store management team is responsible for many aspects of store operations. The Event & Hospitality Coordinator (must be at least 21) will work with other Managers to guarantee customer satisfaction by imposing the company culture and teaching it to staff. This position will manage all center activities, oversee birthday parties, manage story time, create an leading library and assist with social media, monthly newsletter and in-house advertisements. Candidates will have the most success if they are highly organized and skilled in multi-tasking.

You must be able to:

  • Provide evidence of 2+ vaccinations
  • Create a festive atmosphere. We need a BIG (organized) personality! Manage weekly, monthly and seasonal events
  • Work part-time hours, some may include Saturdays and Sundays
  • Fosters a fun work environment by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to young staff
  • Work collaboratively with other Managers (Office, Floor)
  • Coach team on the performance of their duties; participate in performance appraisals; assess training needs; and provide feedback
  • Be an example of well behavior and high performance and lead team to maintain outstanding store condition and cleanliness standards
  • Collaborate with store leadership team to implement sales and incentive programs, and events
  • Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
  • Be able to communicate and interact with small children in a caring and engaging way and with parents in a supportive and friendly way
  • Independently deal with issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.)
  • Independently manage opening and closing procedures
  • Future plans of running (all-ready prepared) parent-me classes and weekly storytime
  • Additional team duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to work weekends. We are open from 9:00am-5:00pm with weekend shifts SOMETIMES until 7:00pm.
  • Must love interacting with children.
  • Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be over 21 and able to pass a background check to work with children.
  • Legal documentation establishing your identity and eligibility to be legally employed in the country in which you apply.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
