The Skinny Pancake is hiring Full-Time seasonal event staff!

Rate of pay: $15 per hour guarantee plus tips! Average rate pay $19-20/hr.

Are you an energetic, hard-working music lover? Do you love meeting new people,

exploring new places, and sleeping in a tent as your second home? The Skinny Pancake is hiring multiple positions to join our traveling food vending team! We travel around VT, MA and NY promoting our brand by selling crepes at music festivals and events, such as Solid Sound, Greyfox Bluegrass Festival, and Green River Festival.

The Skinny Pancake event team is a unique opportunity to travel, see great music and learn the ins and outs of operating a mobile kitchen. Our #1 goal is to promote the Skinny Pancake brand: we share the story of the Pancake while filling bellies with amazing, locally sourced crepes. We’re here to raise the vibes and feed the people - and have a lot of fun while we do it!

Work begins in May and runs through October... Weekends are a must!

As a member of our event team you’ll travel with us to events near and far, camp out on festival grounds, gain some quality work experience and still have time to catch some great live shows!

Every member of our team is given the opportunity to develop skills in back of house cooking and front of house guest service. This is also a great role for folks interested in learning the operational and organizational skills related to event management and mobile food service operations. If you’ve never worked alongside a festival food vendor, you’ll see why they are some of the most courageous and crafty people in the industry!

Product is prepped and equipment is stored at our commissary kitchen in Winooski, VT. We are open to folks joining the team from everywhere we travel to: Vermont, Eastern NY, and Western MA.

The ideal candidate is honest, reliable, flexible & up to the challenge for some physical hard work. You must be able to lift 50 lbs and have a valid driver's license!

As we travel throughout the Northeast, all festival team staff are expected to follow COVID 19 mandates in the towns, cities, counties and states in which we are operating. In some cases, festival rules have dictated that vaccines are required.
