The role you’ll contribute:

The Executive Director works with PHD-PCP executive and senior leadership teams to develop and implement network related initiatives and strategies that are in harmony with AdventHealth’s strategic plan and priorities for value-based care and risk readiness. The Executive Director leads engagements with physicians and key stakeholders and works with PHSO and AHMG teams to identify, target, and build successful high-value integrated delivery networks throughout their division/markets that can be utilized by PHD-PCP. The Executive Director partners with PHD-PCP business operations leaders to construct, maintain, and manage a patient referral and navigation process. The Executive Director must have a passion for delivering high-quality and high-touch service to our community and have a genuine commitment to maintaining positive physician relations. The Executive Director will have Network Development and Integrity oversight and responsibility across all markets within AdventHealth’s PHD. The Executive Director must be high energy, committed to producing individual results, and possess drive and desire to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, team-based environment. The Executive Director actively participates in developing strategy and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Works hand in hand with PHD-PCP leadership to grow, maintain and enhance population health related network development and integrity initiatives that include but are not limited to direct to employer opportunities, value-based payor contracts, provider performance and utilization, and risk readiness

• Builds a sustainable team of Directors, Managers, and front-line employees committed to all aspects of network development and integrity

• Builds and maintains a sustainable team to track patient referrals and provide care navigation support throughout full episodes of care for all VBLs

• Works closely with PHD-PCP clinical leaders and teams to ensure strategic and operational alignment.

• Liaisons with Network and AHMG leaders and their teams to create partnerships to review data, analytics, and best practices for network development and integrity

• Partners with internal stakeholders (PHSO and PE) to develop and maintain tools and dashboards that monitor and assess cost and utilization trends across primary care and specialty physicians.

• Partners with other Division/Regional Network Development Leaders (PHSO and AHMG) for state or systemwide strategic provider partnerships in specialty care, ancillary care, and acute and emergency department care.

• Participates in network key committee meetings and provides leadership and expertise regarding network development and integrity

• Continually reviews market dynamics and trends, in conjunction with Strategic Planning, and reports to senior and executive leadership

• Utilizes market intelligence and data to determine the size and scope of the network required to deliver high quality services that meet the needs of the communities we serve, provides appropriate access, and ultimately lowers the per capita cost of healthcare

• Participates and leads in the development and execution of provider participation agreements and other provider based contracts

• Responsible for appropriately identifying, researching, analyzing, recommending and executing on network development and other value-based related opportunities and strategies

• Leads in the development and implementation of the network as it relates to physician strategy and all other requisite components of the network

• Recommends actions, negotiates and assists in managing physician and non-physician relationships within the network

• Completes other projects as assigned

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field

• Minimum five years’ experience in strategy/business development, public relations, marketing, and/or finance

• Minimum three years’ leadership experience (direct oversight of FTE’s and/or organizational strategies)

• Minimum three years’ experience in healthcare strategy, marketing, finance, public relations and/or operations

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Master’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration highly preferred

• Five years of experience in healthcare strategy

• Five years of experience in executive leadership in healthcare
