Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Salary: $43300 - $57400 / year

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Housekeepers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management and evaluation.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and order and distributes supplies and equipment as needed, while working to control cost.
• Maintain a daily “check-out” and “stay-over” report.
• Ensure that all reports, orders, and projects are completed.
• Maintain control of all master keys.
• Monitor and controls expenses and payroll, while ensuring proper resources are in place.
• Conduct housekeeping inspections on a regularly and takes corrective action as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum three (3) years of hotel housekeeping experience required.
• Minimum two years experience supervising a team.
• Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, washers, tools, fixtures and cleaning solvents.
• Knowledge of how to use the Material Safety Data Sheets for cleaning solvents.
• Good communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking and standing for entire length of shift.
• Frequent climbing of stairs.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying.
• Use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing or washing duties.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Visual acuity sufficient to inspect cleanliness of rooms and surfaces.
