Job description

• Position: Executive Pastor of Ministries
• Status: Full-Time
• Supervisor: Lead Pastor
• Date Listed: May 9, 2023

Purpose: To give leadership and direction to the ministry operations of LIFE Church including all on campus ministries and all off campus LIFE Group ministries.

Administration

• Help coordinate/develop proactive strategies and systems to accomplish the vision as laid out by the Lead Pastor.
• Oversee and manage the Operation’s Manual and provide accountability to volunteers and staff to ensure that the systems are being followed.
• Coordinate and work with appropriate staff in developing the operating budget and provide communication regarding the current status of their respective budget.
• Attend weekly staff meetings, evaluation meetings, and other meetings as necessary.
• Work with the Administrator to ensure that appropriate financial reports are completed.
• Work with the Administrator to ensure that all necessary data is tracked in CCB.

Personnel

• Oversee job descriptions for each direct staff report and hold accountable (through performance reviews and annual evaluations) to the expectations defined.

Ministry

• Give direction and leadership to the entire base of volunteers except for worship/tech and business operations.
• Give direction and leadership to all Sunday ministries except for worship and tech.
• Help assimilate the right volunteers in the right ministries to carry out the vision of LIFE Church.
• Oversee and lead a minimum of two volunteer training workshops per calendar year and ensure that new volunteers are scheduled to serve.
• Plan all the logistics for a Sunday morning (excluding preaching/worship) by coordinating a ministry map.
• Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the Lead Pastor including but not limited to teaching on Sunday, counseling, hospital care, weddings, funerals, etc.
• Serve as an advisor to the Lead Pastor.

Disciple-making

• Implement a leadership pipeline whereby volunteers can advance within the organization.
• Implement a disciple-making pipeline whereby followers of Jesus grow to becoming disciple-makers.
• Give direction and leadership to LIFE Groups with the goal of every attender involved in community.

Personal Expectations

• Maintain God ordained priorities in your life by putting Jesus Christ first, your spouse second, your children third and the ministry fourth.
• Give at least 10% of your income to the vision of LIFE Church.
• Be loyal to the vision and staff of LIFE Church and always protect the unity of the church.
• Invest and invite the lost to know Jesus and come to LIFE Church.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
