We are a privately owned established General and Cosmetic dental practice located 10 minutes from the Pittsburgh Airport. Our practice provides the most recent general and cosmetic dental procedures, is digitally based and paperless, and puts a high priority on patient care and satisfaction. We are looking for an Expanded Function Dental Assistant, EFDA, who is experienced and passionate about providing quality dental care. We would consider an experienced dental assistant who has a Pennsylvania dental x-ray license.

• A valid Pennsylvania Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, EFDA, License required to be considered for the position, along with a Pennsylvania Dental x-ray license.
• At least one year experience performing Expanded Functions Dental Assisting, EFDA, duties will be given priority. Wage based on experience. The duties and responsibilities of this position includes Proficient in restoring and finishing composite resin restorationPlacing sealant material Performing fluoride treatments. Performing other dental assisting skills for endodontics, oral surgery, pedodontics, and implant dentistry Infection control and appropriate

sterilization procedures for preparing patient operatories and instruments.

• Taking Dental x-rays Reviewing patient medical and dental histories Proficiency in computer skills, Dentrix, and procedure coding preferred.
