The Boeing Company is currently seeking highly motivated, creative and digitally-savvy Experienced and Senior Engineering Technical Specialists - Product Definition Systems & Tools (Levels 3 & 4). These positions are assigned to the Everett/Renton Engineering Operations – Engineering Processes & Tools or Airplane Level Engineering Integration (ALEI) Processes and Tools Support teams to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering value stream; this position will work cross-functionally and across organizational boundaries to accomplish BCA business objectives.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and have demonstrated experience working with Computer Aided Design tools and Bill of Material systems specifically CATIA, ENOVIA and DELMIA as well as digital visualization tools. They will also have a high degree of customer focus and ability to clearly share knowledge regarding BCA's engineering processes and tools.
Works in Everett/Renton Engineering Operations within the Engineering Processes & Tools Teams or the Airplane Level Engineering Integration (ALEI) Processes and Tools Support Team
Develops, documents, implements, provides consultation on the application of, and ensures compliance with, requirements for use of engineering tools, processes and standards
Provides informal training and assistance in the utilization of processes and tools and supports the integration of engineering designs
With a customer focus mindset, provides direct Engineering processes and tools end-user support resolving issues and communicating productivity enhancements and procedures; continually enhances end-user support services
Identifies and validates user access roles, produces tip sheets and understands system interoperability
Provides targeted software functionality and regression test services to BCA prior to major IT software releases
Provides ad-hoc assistance to Engineering DE community to accomplish business priorities
Builds and maintains vital business relationships between business units, programs, IT, IT suppliers, IT support and training organizations
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
This is an onsite position. The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite in Everett, WA.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads development, documentation, implementation and consultation of the application of, and compliance with, requirements for the use of engineering tools, processes and standards.
Guides training and provides subject matter expertise in the utilization of processes, tools and integration of engineering designs.
Ensures regulatory requirements are met. Leads the validation of user access roles and the production of moderately complex tip sheets.
Guides configuration management, coordination of changes, assessments of compliance and manages the implementation of product standards across company business units and programs.
Represents Company interests on external standards committees and develops, adapts and/or adopts external standards for internal use.
Directs the development, maintenance and distribution of engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity.
Leads the collection, analysis and validation of engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs.
Works under minimal direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience working in Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools and Bill of Material (BOM) systems
Experience with digital visualization tools
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Experience working in CATIA, ENOVIA and DELMIA
Experience with formal/informal training and/or customer service
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools
Proficiency in REDAR and IVT
Experience on recent Boeing commercial airplane programs
Customer focus

Typical Education/Experience:
Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
Senior (Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay range Level 3: $90,100-$121,900
Pay Range Level 4 : $116,450-$157,550
