Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator – Rip Rap Processing – Rock Quarries & Project Sites (including Brooksville, Webster, Center Hill, Bushnell, Reddick, FL)

Experienced heavy equipment operator with strong skills on excavators, wheel loaders, hydraulic hammers, & mobile crusher/screeners in rock quarries. Company produces rip rap, specialty aggregate materials in multiple project sites & rock quarries in central & southwest FL. Duties include operating equipment to produce required materials, servicing/maintenance of equipment, and loading trucks. Quarry, mining experience, & MSHA training preferred. On project sites, OSHA 10 Construction training is required. Company will provide all required training to skilled operators. Day shift, regular OT.

Must be a reliable, dependable, self-starter and work well in teams of 2-3 operators. Perform all duties in a careful manner to ensure a safe workplace, maintain compliance with MSHA/OSHA requirements, while achieving production targets. Good operating skills are critical to working productively.

Operators will work principally in Brooksville & Webster and at times in other locations. Company provides mileage reimbursement if drive from home to a work location is more than 30 miles.

If overnight travel is required, all travel costs are paid for by Company plus a daily per diem for food, incidentals. Limited overnight travel is required.

Compensation: $21-23+/hr based on operating skills, work experience. Benefits include health insurance, 401k plan, 8 paid holidays each year, and paid time off for vacation, sick days.
