We are seeking an experienced Surgical Tech (ST) to join our OR Team in Glenwood Springs, CO. As a Level III trauma center, we have 4 state-of-the-art surgical suites and offer a range of specialties including Robotics (Exactech, Mako, Stealth, DaVinci), General, Eyes, Ortho, Brain/Spine, OB-GYN, ENT, Neuro, Plastics, and Urology.
Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms and assist surgeons during surgeries
Set up surgical instruments and equipment
Monitor and maintain a sterile field
Transport patients to and from the operating room
Ensure proper disposal of surgical equipment and waste
Requirements:
Active CO Surgical Tech (ST) License with DORA or in the process of applying
Experience with Ortho, total joints, Neuro/Spine, Robotics, Urology, GYN, ENT, and Plastics
Graduate of an accredited scrub technologist program
Certification in Surgical Technology from the National Board Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Association of Surgical Technologist (AST)
Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
Proof of Covid vaccine and recent Flu Vaccine 2022/2023
