Under the supervision of the Director of Extended Day, the Extended Day Enrichment Program Leader will work as a team to build a positive and supportive environment for students in grades 5-8. Our focus is on supporting youth in their academic, social and emotional development.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPlan and lead enrichment activities to develop students physical, emotional and social growth and incorporate core academics, such as mathematics, whenever possible.Work effectively with students and assist with behavior management, discipline, interpersonal actions and act as a role model.Help mentor students in a variety of learning and life experiences.Supervise and manage a maximum of 10 school aged children in grades 5th through 8th.Create an ongoing communication with site staff and parents.Support and build relationships with both parents and program participants.Create a positive and safe environment for all program participants.Hours: 4:00pm-5:30pmClass Length: 1 day/week for 6 weeksLocation: SISU Center, 417 Canal Street, Lawrence, MAabouteureka.com is the go-to platform for job seekers looking for the best job postings from around the web.
